ADVANCED II CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY WORKSHOP (ADV II)
Pre-requisite Workshop(s):
Advanced CranioSacral 1 (ADV1); and a period of time and practice that allows for comfortably learning more…..the amount of time and number of given/received sessions that would bring a candidate to a place of ADV2 readiness will vary on the individual. Typically it will be several months or longer after having attended ADV1.
Students who come to ADV classes must be; self-responsible, capable of transitioning between the roles of being A Client, A Therapy Team Assistant, and A Therapy Team Facilitator. They must be able to work on their own issues, express themselves, cooperate, receive feedback and engage in a learning dialogue with other students and the instructor.
If you are not actively practicing CST, or have not done so for quite some time, you would benefit from refreshing on the material in a classroom — either attending or assisting an appropriate CST class.
Description:
The acceptance of this invitation carries with it the responsibility of daily presence in both group discussions and hands-on practice sessions. During the week, the hours spent doing “multiple therapist” work as therapeutic/facilitative participant on the table as the recipient of the work, and as a contributor to the group discussions serve to create a cohesiveness and bonding of the group which is not easily duplicated under any other circumstances.
Toward this end your presence and participation are crucial to the final outcome of the week. This is a time for sharing, learning, absorbing, self-discovery, self-realization and growth. Enjoy and reap the harvest.
Advanced CranioSacral Therapy workshops are often held at retreat type settings. The setting selected is intended to provide a comfortable environment for processing, often late into the evenings.
In retreat settings the participants are required to stay on site, and be included in the group meals. Staying off site, even if you are local, is not permitted for these settings.
